Tonal Tuesday: sunset crisp

Snappy & warm settles down into the cool blue yonder.

Gocco Thank You Card

• Yarn swap with my knitting group was fantastic last night! I got some lovely chocolate brown merino/alpaca mix, some fuzzy chocolate kidsilk haze and a fabulous fuschia 100% alpaca stuff. So soft and best yet: free! Thanks, ladies!
• Boots. They are more beautiful than I could have imagined & fit perfectly. I can’t wait to wear them. Gotta protect them first!!
• Buying my first Real Perfume: L’Imperatrice by D&G. It’s yummy, warm & sweet without being noxious or uber floral. Marketing spew: “A blend with a top of rhubarb, kiwi accord, and red currant; a heart of pink cyclamen, watermelon, and jasmine; and a base of musk, sandalwood, and grapefruit wood.”
• Finding my momentum again.
• Being a knitting machine.
• Rediscovering the Gocco again.
• Honeymooning come Monday! We’ll be gone all week—I haven’t yet decided if I can crank out some post to trickle out while we’re away or not. I *might* just take the week off.
• Having mad luck at the resale shop. Marimekko, Free People, Gap, JCrew & Betsey Johnson. I swear I am done with this spurt of consumerism though. I go through it about quarterly where the shopping bug bites me and bites me hard. I think I’ve quelled the beast for now.
