Tonal Tuesday: out of the oridinary
Let’s get out of my comfort zone and do a color based around red! Earth tones pair with two bright colors. The calm of the earth tones helps balance out the one-two punch with which the red & green come out swinging. Zing, pop…ahhhhhh!

Congratulations to the winner of the Daisy Cutter beret:
Ashley, who said:
“I’d love some rich reds . . . fall colors, sunset colors. I think a coffee cup in those colors, or a really pretty dish – something for a desk or table to hold stuff – toys, keys, smell-good, candy. Same colors, anything knitted. one day i will actually list my own knitted items on my etsy shop. still building”
Random.org picked her out. ♥ Congratulations, Ashley! I’ll be packing up your prize & shipping it out tomorrow.
Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions! I will work on introducing some of these items into the shop this season. Keep your eyes peeled!

Busy bee. Happy it’s Friday and a long weekend is stretching out in front of me. I just like practicing my snarly face.

layers
- Crisper weather
- Chunky sweaters. Layers. Textured tights. OTK socks.
- Glorious boots that will be mine next pay period. Yes, I have been pulling up their picture and telling them that I will be coming to get them, my pretties. Oh yes.
- Investment items. As a lady who was brought up to shop cheap, shop sale, it’s difficult for me to buy good quality items. I just need to remember that sometimes the larger initial cost is cheaper in the long run than those cheap thrills that fall apart far too quickly. I’ve owned too many cheap items, adore them and then am saddened when they fall to tatters. I am determined to make two investments this fall, however it shall rend me to part with the $$.
- Pomplamoose. Auditory delight. Listen: Myspace. Watch: YouTube. You will not be sorry. Not at all.
- Texture in general. Collage. Opacity.
- Following random whims and really just creating a lot of output. Feels so good.
- The giveaway! Don’t forget to enter! Ends at midnight tonight!
What’s TiLTing your whirl this week?
