friday5: week 23 Oddly divided & then overslept. C’est la vie. Happy Friday before Halloween! <3

• New hairs! Tangerine, orange sherbert, strawberry blonde. yes.
• Crafty good times. Which include: knitting (of course!), beading necklaces, attempts at crocheting headbands & then sewing beads, cutting out felt skull badges & embroidering them & attaching the result to a pin back.
• Coco before Chanel. Swoongasm.
• Making the most of my time off. Every second counts.
• Mad luck at Crossroads Trading. Wool/cashmere sweater in acid-apple green originally from jcrew? Yes please!

What’s tooting your horn this week?

I don’t normally draw animals; I like to stick the faces & girls in general but thought I would squiggles some out-of-the-ordinary pour moi.

I love Halloween. Candy corn, pumpkins, witches & striped socks and green oogie boogies.

friday5: week 22

friday5: week 22 Being on break is totally awesome. I am, however, knitting so much my hands ache. And, of course, kitties! & now I’m off to lunch to meet my new coworkers. Yipes! Happy Friday! <3

• Being home and having a break between jobs. The new one commences on the 5th and I am cramming in as much awesome in the time between.
• Knitting a Jayne Cobb hat and getting inspired by ear flaps! Such things I never thought would happen.
• Beautiful fall weather. Sunny & 65ºF? Hell yes!
• Bicycle rides to the post office.
• Cute packaging.
• Watching Glee on hulu & knitting. Oh my love of musicals continues.
• Finally figuring out my halloween costume. I got the main part but need a few accessories such as cuban/seamed stockings, false eyelashes (& a tutorial on how to put them on, please?) and a crinoline that’s not uber spendy.
