With knitting & cat (Menace).

When my sister Emily came to visit me at Thanksgiving, I was inspired on one of our shopping trips to knit her a big soft comfy cowl to combat the Iowa weather. <3

I bought this yarn originally for a hat but am delighted with the outcome for her cowl. It’s Capra from KnitPicks. 85% Merino wool and 15% cashmere, it’s soft and lofty but still has a substance to it. Sometimes fancy yarn can get so cloud-like and almost fluffy but this has just enough weight to it to be a comfort fiber. Gorgeous colors too! This is Fairy Tale. & this hat was the Celestial. And serious, $6.49 for cashmere softiness? Yes please!
