From our October trip to Paris. We got caught in a rainstorm just after discovering the Catacombs at Notre Dame were closed. We got soaked hunting for cover so we could figure out where the nearest metro station was. Ducked under some gothic architecture and found our way via iPhone. Spent an entire rainy day wandering around the Louvre with my favorite person taking a gazillion photos. Heaven.

Happy December! Holiday cookies always feel very festive to me, especially kolaczki. My Polish grandma makes them every year (though my little sister has taken over the construction in more recent years). Sweet dough, wrapped around a dollop of pie filling (raspberry is my favorite but Grandma & Emmie make apricot too) with powdered sugar over the top. Of course, the kolaczki one is totally the wallpaper I will be sporting but I wanted to give a few more cookie options. From me, to you, some very merry holiday decor for your desk, desktop & iPhone.

Lately I’ve been more obsessed than usual with the ultra-warm hue range. Delicious coral & orange. Vibrant but not too harsh. Just peachy.

Crispy, tart and toasty— I love wearing this color palette, personally. Decor-wise, I picture it as a very girly-modern living room or cozy library.

She was the fanciest pig at the fair that day. Her twisty tail sealed the deal & got her the first prize blue ribbon.

Feeling soft and worn at the edges. Like good leather that breaks in and becomes more delightful and buttery and soft the more it’s used. Old paper ephemera and trinkets. Dried roses from our first anniversary. The sky is grey outside but it’s cozy and warm here in my heart and memory.
