Agnes was distracted, staring out the window from her desk. She should have been working. Instead she was dreaming of summer afternoons, lemonade & macarons; frilly skirts, picnics and shaved ice. She was a billion miles away when the phone rang, instantly snapping her drifting, floaty brain-cloud back into her skull and the mid-morning drudgery of another conference call.
