It’s been a smidge since I’ve done one of these— mixing up the format to play with the proportions of the color. It’s not just about the individual colors but also how they balance and communicate with one another. One of the reasons color is so delightful is this silly brain dance.

Seriously feeling this crazy color scheme: plums, neutrals & a fabulous coral. This feels like a party dress with gold sparkles to me. Maybe add a few dashes of a pale turquoise for an extra zing of color?

There was this crazy crushed velvet couch from the 70s in my friend’s basement in Junior High. That couch saw some crazy baby teenager makeouts in it’s day. Probably makeouts from multiple generations! Well, that thought killed the mood, huh? The colors are still delightful even if the idea of parental makeouts is not!
